How to back up your Joomla database using phpMyAdmin• You will be shown how to get the phpMyAdmin using cPanel. No control panel is required. • Scroll down to the database tab and then click on phpMyadmin. • Click on your Joomla database on the left. • Click on the export option and then verify if all the tables in the database are selected by clicking select all. • Scroll down for the save option. • Click on the checkbox next to the save as file. • Optionally the compression format can be chosen for the backup. • Click on go and a new wizard window will appear where you will click on the ok option. • You will finally be shownthe window confirming your success of backing up the Joomla database using the phpMyAdmin.
